Eric Johnson co-hosts Britain's brightest
daytime show, The Wright Stuff. He joined
the daily debate series on Channel 5 in 2007
and quickly established himself as a firm
favourite as both a studio presenter and
location reporter.
Eric's role involves being across the news
stories of the day and co-ordinating live
debate between the studio audience,
celebrity panellists and viewers at home. He
also undertakes location vox pops and
celebrity red carpet interviews, not to
mention his own segments.
Eric has always been first with the news. He
reported on the very latest from Channel 4's
Big Brother as one of a select few to attend
the post eviction press conferences and
interview evicted housemates on Big
Brother's Little Brother.
Self-confessed 'news junkie' Eric completed
an MA in Multimedia Journalism at
Bournemouth University and went on to work
for Reuters and BBC South Today News.
As Reporter for Mercury FM radio, Eric was
first on the scene of Europe's largest
explosion for six decades at the Buncefield
Oil Depot in Hertfordshire and his reports
were taken by dozens of radio stations for
broadcast across the globe. He also
presented Mercury's four-times-a-week At the
Movies round-up showcasing the latest cinema
and DVD releases.
Eric went on be at the forefront of
expanding technology as a News &
Entertainment Producer for a leading mobile
internet company filing reports and music
videos for several million consumers on a
daily basis.
Eric's multimedia journalism skills and
daily presenting experience are the right
stuff to lead him on to undertaking an
extended range of television news and
factual entertainment output.
